My name is Brenda Holbrook, and I am a wife and mother of three. I love the Lord with my very being and love to worship him in song and praise. My walk with Gospel music began many years ago when I was just a small girl and sang with my parents across the mountains of North Carolina. Throughout my early life I “thought” I was saved, only to find out one day while traveling down the road to Kannapolis, NC that I truly did not have that intimate walk with Christ. It was on the side of Interstate 40 that day that I had a heart to heart talk with God and accepted him as the love and leader of my life. Today that walk has strengthened with every moment that passes. It has been the trials of my life that have made me realize that with Christ all things are possible. When it seems that you have gone as far as you can go, you turn it all over to Christ and he will bring you through the valley. Once I realized that Christ is walking with me through the fire it became much easier to bear the things that life will throw at me.
It is a wonderful feeling to stand and sing praises to God with my husband and oldest daughter. There is not a greater feeling than to see them be spiritually filled with Gods presence and know that we worship him here on earth together and shall someday worship him eternally. It is my desire to spread God’s word and plant a seed so that those who do not know him, or are not sure of their walk with him will come to realize that to turn their lives over to him will give them the peace that they cannot find.
